Welcome to the August 2009 Newsletter from Kingston & Teddington Osteopathy!

This has been a mixed summer with inclement weather and swine flu... I am glad to report that to date we have been in the clear at the practice. Many thanks to those of you with bad colds/swine flu who have stayed away until you are well again – it is much appreciated by us all. Now all we need is some sunshine to store up some vitamin D for the winter months ahead.

Top Tip for Summer Foot and Calf Pain

In the summer more of us walk and exercise more – often taking up brisk walking or jogging outside. This can often lead to foot, heel or calf pain. These symptoms can be very painful due to inflammation of ligaments, tendons or the sole of the foot. Here at Kingston & Teddington Osteopathy we will be able to give you a proper diagnosis be it Achilles Tendonitis, Plantar Fasciitis or falling Foot Arches. We can then provide the treatment to enable recovery and advice on how to exercise without pain. Should you have any of the above mentioned symptoms please do call us for advice on 0208 977 6396.

Enjoy the rest of the summer!

Kingston & Teddington Osteopathy Website

The website has been recently revamped and updated ( see www.osteopathuk.co.uk). Please do forward the link to any friends that you think may be interested in osteopathy... as practitioners we have many skills and these can be applied to treat many differing conditions/symptoms. Obviously, low back pain and neck pain are some of the more frequent symptoms that we treat but the aim of the site is to show how osteopathy can be applied across a greater spectrum of problems.

For example, we are doing more work with women suffering from Endometriosis. Osteopathy can really help with the symptoms associated with this. Women who have endometriosis also can have problems conceiving and osteopathic techniques can be used to help release the adhesions around the uterus so that conception is more likely. It can also alleviate the symptoms of IBS (irritable bowel syndrome) that often accompany endometriosis. Should you wish to get more information on this please call us direct on 0208 977 6396.

From all of us at Kingston & Teddington Osteopathy we wish you a fit and healthy summer!

For any queries please do contact us at the practice on 0208 977 6396 or 07957 348 513.

Best wishes
